Lately...

Well things are a changing as of LaTeLy...

Since my last post... Colter has refused to go to nursery. He cries and cries unless he's with me. This is making it nearly impossible for me to do my calling. He does love to run around the primary room visiting the older kids!

Colter is also becoming a master climber. He is always on the counter tops, tables and trying to climb book shelves. Saturday I came into him sitting on the kitchen counter smooshing banana's. Of course having already thrown all the apples onto the floor. He also loves to play in the toilets... the latest excursion including his toothbrush as a stir stick. Coloring walls and my computer are amazingly fun and destroying anything his sisters have made is great! Colter's favorite thing to say right now, besides NO... is "see ya, bye... bye see ya" Good thing he's so cute :)

Brinkley started first grade 2 weeks ago and she loves it. However, she is so tired by the time I pick her up and so hungry. I think she's learning something... so far all I hear about is reading Charlottes Web and what she gets to have for Lunch. In the car Saturday we were having the discussion about what they want to be when they grow up. Brinkley disclosed that she wants to be the Queen of Utah when she grows up. Tom tried to tell her there is no Queen of Utah... she just said, "well, there will be when I grow up!" She is counting down the days until her birthday and halloween. She is going to be Mario and have a Mario birthday party.

Ashley has really enjoyed having Brinkley go to school... this way she gets much more attention. She starts preschool later this week and is very excited to go. Ashley's has been working hard all summer at having dry under ware. Yes it has been 4 months and we just now have 4 days in a row. It's an exciting milestone. She's trying to earn a treat that her aunt Monica promised her. Let's hope she gets it! She loves to cause trouble a lot and is very sneaky. She is always happy and unruffled no matter what is going on in life.

I am such a better Mom since Brinkley went to school... I clean in the morning an it mostly stays that way for hours, amazing! Then when I feel like I've at least accomplished something I can be happier for when she comes home. She tell me that she likes my sweet voice much better than my yelling voice. :) All three of them drive me to the edge of destruction at times, but they all three bring me so much love and happiness as well. I wouldn't trade them for anything. Life is never dull and things change all the time, especially lately...

  1. I agree, it's nice to get a little done while they are off at school. Sounds like you are busy, busy! Wish we were closer. :)
