So a couple of weeks ago when Summer started getting rough, I decided to make my kids an incentive chart. Cute fish bowls where they can earn little paper fish. When they have 15 little fish they can pick a big fish that has an activity written on the back for them to do with either mom or dad. Five minutes after explaining all this to the girls Brinkley comes to me with a paper filled with hearts and proceeds to tell me that it's my chart and whenever I don't yell at them then I will get a check mark and when the paper is full then I can play outside with her. So, I guess it's only fair right?
Anyway, Brinkley earned her first big fish and it was a bike ride. She chose to take me with her and we had a fabulous time biking to the park, playing and talking on the swings and then biking the neighborhood back. I don't usually get any alone, quiet time with her so we had a lot of fun together and I realized even more how much she is growing up. I love you so much Brink! Thanks for putting up with your yelling mom...
It's so sweet that Brinkley picked her activity to be with you, even if you do yell at her all the time. :) I love that you went bike riding, how fun is that!? The idea of earning fish is so cute. Good job mom!
