FINALLY!!!

Happy Early Birthday to ME! Dec. 15, 2009... Today is truly a day to mark on the calendar as a miracle! Our lawyer called this morning to let me know that she received notice from the courts that the Judge decided to terminate parental rights of both birth mother and birth father. We don't even have to have a hearing to prove our case, it's just done. I really thought there was no way that this would happen, so it is a huge miracle to me that it did! Now Ashley is free and we can move forward with her adoption. Home study, court appearance, finalization, name change and then to the Temple... This part I can handle. It's been a long stressful 2 years, but now it's finally going to be over and I will finally be able to promise her that we will be a family forever :)
