Boy does time seem to get past me these days. It seems like I can't stay on top of anything and I can't figure out why... We have a couple updates since my last post.
One big thing is that Tom has received another calling. He has been called to be the ward clerk for the Weber State University 10th ward. It's a singles ward close to campus. He was relieved to get out of being Choir director :) He didn't even have to conduct in church once, lucky! His new calling will be a lot of fun, but also a big time commitment away from home. I've been taking the kids to church by myself a couple weeks now. All I can say is thank goodness for understanding neighbors! So many people have helped and offered to help me. We hope at the first of the year he will be able to help me with Sacrament meeting before he heads off to Ogden. That would be a huge help.
I have just been running around a lot. H1N1 shots for everyone...Getting everything decorated for Christmas, shopping done and stuff like that. I think I'm almost done. My mom and dad left and they are the hardest to find something for.
Brinkley is still loving her Kindergarten class. We went to parent teachers a few weeks ago and her teacher Mrs. Liddell said that she is very good and sounding out words and writing sentences. Probably the best in the class. So she is doing great. I bet her marks for the Piano test today weren't so great :).... She loves to play, but she usually just wants to play her own thing instead of what she's suppose to. She also has a lot of friends in the neighborhood that she loves to play with. Today she is on the NICE List, I hope it lasts til' Christmas!
Ashley is testing every limit we have... It must be the age. She likes preschool and dance. It's yet to be determined if she's learning anything there, but she's always really happy when I pick her up :). Her favorite pass time is pestering Colter. And when I ask her why she won't leave him alone, she says that she just likes babies... perfect logic. Lately she has been very into helping us clean. She uses wet wipes, dripping wet toilet paper... anything she can use to clean with. Who couldn't use a live in cleaning lady? She to is on the NICE list today.
Colter is getting so big. He goes where ever he wants, stands up to furniture and gets into lots of things. He loves to follow his sisters around. And he loves me to hold him. Maybe that's why I don't get much done? But I love to hold him and kiss his cheeks off. He's such a good boy.
Anyway, I just felt like it had been a while since I posted, so thought I would give a little update. We are loving the Holiday Season!
Cute, thanks for sharing. I love getting to know your kiddos more through your blog. :) Glad they're on the nice list.
