Star of the Week 2/1/10

Brinkley has been waiting patiently all year for her turn to be the Star of the Week in her class. This week it was finally her turn. We made a poster of things about her and I went to her class with her when she showed it and told the class all the fun things about her. She did a great job!
Last night was also her parent teacher conference. Mrs. Lidell said that Brinkley is a great student and that she is doing so well writing sentences and sounding out words. She said that she should start writing her own stories and books. She got top marks on all the things she has been learning and only needs to work on some numbers that she's writing backwards. Way to go Brinkley! We are so proud of you.
